Fees and Payments
A parent, the bride or the groom must be a FUMC member to
receive member benefits when scheduling a wedding.
Fees for Members/Non- Members:
Church Facilities: $125.00/$250.00
Fee for use of church facilities including sanctuary or chapel for
rehearsal & wedding.
Minister: $150/$250.00
Counseling, rehearsal, & wedding
Church Organist: $125.00/$150.00
Consultations, rehearsal & wedding
Wedding Coordinator: $125.00/$150.00
Consultations, rehearsal & wedding
Church Custodian: $100.00/$100.00
Security and cleaning of church for wedding & rehearsal
Sound System Coordinator: $75.00/$100.00
Wedding & rehearsal
Candles: $35.00/$35.00
If FUMC’s candelabras are used, special drip-less, custom-fitted
candles must be used. The church orders these candles
wholesale, in bulk quantities, and the bridal party purchases
them for each wedding.
ALL FEES ARE DUE AND PAYABLE TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO
REHEARSAL. Make checks payable to First United Methodist
Church.
Damage Deposit: $100
(please make a separate check payable to First UMC. It will be
returned if no damage is found).
Reception Charges: United Methodist Women (please make
check payable to the United Methodist Women).
If any other food than cake, coffee, or punch is served, the price
is doubled. Preliminary arrangements must be made!!!
$125 for the first 100 people (minimum) - $1.00 per plate after
first 100.
