CARE/SHARE

The Care/Share group takes turns to cook and deliver meals on the
second and fourth Saturdays of each month.  These meals go to our
senior members or any others who might appreciate a prepared meal due
to a wide variety of situations.  If you know of someone who could
benefit from this program, call the church office  @ 308-254-4505.

If you'd like to volunteer to help cook or deliver these meals, please
contact

Quilt Guild

The Threads of Friendship Quilt Guild meets every
Wednesday at 8:00 a.m., working on the quilts and then
they have a potluck lunch at noon.  This is an
inter-denominational group.

If you have a quilt top that you'd like have quilted, they
would love to hear from you.  They also work on each
other's quilt tops.  If you are a quilter who would like to
join in or would like to learn how to hand quilt, contact
Marge Sabin @ 308-254-4505.
The Walk to Emmaus/Chrysalis is a transformational
three-day program open to members of any
denomination, designed to strengthen the faith of
Christian people and, through their discipleship, to
strengthen their families, their congregations, and the

The Five Day Academy for Spiritual
Formation
is:

A retreat for lay and clergy persons of all
denominations who hunger for spiritual
growth.

A time for celebrating holistic spirituality
renewing body, mind, and soul

A time for learning new ways to deepen our
relationship with God and to live as faithful
servants of God's love in the world.

A time when morning and night prayers,
evening Eucharist and silence set the rhythm
for the week.

A time to be informed, nurtured, sustained
and empowered by God's Spirit for
Christian Discipleship in the world.
